Features & Benefits
  • Directed top liner cooling reduces upper liner temperature by as much as 100° F (56° C) providing improved durability and reliability of upper cylinder components.
  • Full electronic control for unmatched performance. Engine Control Unit (ECU) can be engine or remote mounted.
  • Dry thermal-wrapped manifolds and heat shield maintain high thermal energy to the turbocharger for improved fuel economy.
  • Replaceable wet liners, 45-degree connecting rod/cap joint and replaceable valve seats makes these diesels rebuildable within the hull.
  • Either side dipstick and oil fill and multiple oil filter locations make daily maintenance fast and easy.
  • A gear auxiliary drive (80 hp intermittent) provides reliable power for wash down pumps, power steering pumps and hydraulic pumps. Two drive locations provided.
  • Poly-vee belt drive provides increased capacity and flexibility with reduced maintenance.
  • Belt guard designed for simple belt inspection and easy belt replacement.
  • Computer Area Network (CAN) communications to a multiple digital display module on the instrument panel to display performance and diagnostic data.
  • Four valves per cylinder, high pressure electronic unit injectors and cast iron/aluminum articulated pistons are new technology for improved performance, fuel economy and long life.
