You can extend the life of your equipment and improve its trade-in or resale value by repowering with a RemanSelect™ replacement engine. Too much power can damage your machine's drivetrain components while too little power will decrease machine productivity. These high quality engines are factory matched to provide optimum machine performance.

Engine models including 4219, 4239, 4039, 4276, 4045, 6359, 6059, 6414, 6068, 6466 and 6619 are available. John Deere RemanSelect™ engines will adapt to most John Deere and OEM applications produced over the last 30 years.

A RemanSelect™ Engine is a remanufactured engine built to exact John Deere standards. Unlike rebuilt engines that are only taken down to the point of failure, each RemanSelect™ engine core is completely disassembled, cleaned, and inspected. Every part must pass rigorous quality standards.

Key Benefits

Each remanufactured engine is tested after assembly to ensure performance and endurance comparable to that of a new engine. While performance and endurance are equivalent to new, the price is competitive with other major overhaul options. Reman Select engines are the highest quality remanufactured engines available.

RemanSelect™ engines are built specifically for the application or vehicle. It will have the correct oil pan, the correct water pump, the correct rocker cover arm, etc. You will not experience having to "switch out" parts that do not fit the application from the core engine. The configuration is one that was developed for John Deere dealers as a means of reducing labour costs to provide the customer with a remanufactured engine at least cost.

RemanSelect™ engines should be treated as any other new engine. Break-in oil should be used for the first 100 hours. Extra care during this first 100 hours of operation will result in more satisfactory long-term engine performance and life.

Basic Engines
John Deere RemanSelect™ remanufactured engines meet all the quality standards you expect from John Deere. They use only genuine John Deere parts and are built to exact John Deere specifications. RemanSelect™ "basic" engines include the short-block and cylinder-head assembly with valve cover, oil pump, oil cooler, water pump, and front cover.

All parts in yellow are replaced with new genuine John Deere parts.

RemanSelect™ engines are much more than a rebuilt engine. Each core engine is completely disassembled. Parts are thoroughly cleaned by either a bake or chemical cleaning process. All major parts are inspected for cracks using magnetic particle inspection that detects even the smallest cracks. Parts are then dimensionally verified against John Deere parts specifications. Any part not meeting original factory specifications is either scrapped or brought back to specification by various John Deere approved remanufacturing processes. The product is assembled using the same assembly processes that were used when it was built new. Reman Select engines utilize only genuine John Deere parts. All wear parts, such as pistons, liners, bushings, bearings, gaskets, and O-rings, are replaced 100 percent of the time with new John Deere parts.

Complete Engines
A "complete" RemanSelect™ engine is a running engine that includes all the same parts as a basic engine plus the crankshaft damper, fuel system, and the block heater system. It does not include the electrical system, installation gasket kit, or cold-weather starting aid ether injector. Minor accessories may have to be switched over from the core engine.

All parts in green are replaced with new genuine John Deere parts.

Warranty
