Edmonton - Equipment salesperson

Frontier Power Products in Edmonton is looking for a salesperson for diesel engines, generator sets and diesel powered equipment. This is a full-time permanent position.

Responsibilities:

Prospecting and closing new clients within the company's core business (oil & gas, equipment rental)
Increase revenue growth with existing client base by meeting with them on a regular basis and seeking new business opportunities
Prepare and present quotes based on client needs, adhering to company guidelines on gross margin, product offering and quotation recording procedures
Meeting and exceeding all assigned sales quotas
Identifying and presenting to stakeholders new business opportunities
Continually share industry market intelligence with all internal stakeholders
Display exemplary customer service and support

Qualifications

Mechanical / electrical engineering background (diploma/degree) considered an asset
5+ years selling industrial engines / generator sets / diesel powered equipment, with strong connections within the company's target core businesses
Strong collaborative team approach (internal & external) in identifying customer needs and tailoring custom solutions, within the guidelines of the companies product offering (consultative selling approach)
High level of problem solving and negotiation skills
Self starter, highly organized, results focused who can work part of a team and independently
Proficient with the Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)

Calgary - Electrician

This is a full-time permanent position.

Qualifications for this person should include:
- Journeyman Red Seal
- 2 year's experience
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Must be well organized
- Willingness to travel to job sites
- Computer literate

Duties and Functions:
- Wiring AC/DC circuits and panels
- Some circuit design
- Read electrical schematics
- Troubleshooting - AC/DC and electronics
- Take job from electrical drawings to complete distribution panels
- Knowledge of relay logic, PCB'c, electronic controls

Edmonton - Service technician

This is a full-time permanent position.

Qualifications for this person should include:
- An appreciation of a variety of tasks and challenges
- An ability to manage time and prioritize jobs
- Understand the importance of punctuality
- Has a strong service attitude
- Journeyman ticket or equivalent experience
- Experience with John Deere and Kubota Industrial engines an asset
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuitry
- Genset experience an asset
- Trouble shooting techniques are mandatory
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Must be well organized

Duties:
- In shop and field work
- Travel both locally and out of town
- Stay current with technology
- Analyze problems and solve or seek advice
- Ensure quality of manufactured products

Full-time junior position available immediately. 1 year's experience required. Applicant must have own tools.

Duties:
- Wiring AC/DC circuits and panels
- Some circuit design
- Reading electrical schematics
- Service work
- Troubleshooting – AC/DC, electronics and some engine

Qualifications:
- On-site troubleshooting - Problem solver
- Communicate with on-site personnel
- Able to travel
- Computer literate
- Good work ethic

- Preference will be given to candidates with a background in generator sets
- Testing and troubleshooting of assembled units

- Solid mechanical and electrical experience
- Problem solver

Full-time, permanent position available immediately.
Although this is a 3 month position, it may lead to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Duties:
- Assembly of new equipment with minimum supervision
- Preference will be give to candidates with a background in diesel and natural gas generator sets
- Testing and troubleshooting of assembled units

Qualifications:
- Solid experience with generator sets, mechanical and electrical experience
- Familiarity with electronically controlled engines
- Problem solver
- Strong work ethic
- Accurate, punctual, organized
