• The free Foxit PDF Reader is what Adobe Acrobat Reader used to be--an efficient way to view PDF files. It is 10% of the file size of Adobe Acrobat reader, loads quickly, reads all PDF formats, and seems to perform better than Adobe Acrobat Reader in most circumstances.

• LizardTech's free DjVu Plug-In is a competing standard to Adobe's PDF file format. DjVu files are generally smaller and easier to work with online. Kubota uses the DjVu format for their online manuals. Download the DjVu browser plug-in here.
