FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN – CALGARY, AB

A little bit more about the role:
This is a full time position The ideal candidate is a Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician with Diesel Engine Mechanic experience and exceptional organization and communication skills. We will also consider 3rd year HD apprentices or Journeyman Automotive technicians.
What you will be trained to do:
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems
- Perform mechanical repairs on electrical equipment such as generators
- Use the latest technology and test equipment available to diagnose and service equipment · Perform repairs on engines
- Wire AC/DC circuits and panels
- Read electrical schematics
- Field service work will combine travel both locally & out of town
- Follow all safety procedures and policies
What you will bring (Skills and Experience):
- Great attitude!
- Journeyman HD technician, 3rd year apprentice HD tech or Journeyman Automotive tech · Basic mechanical hand tools.
- Previous mechanical and electrical experience
- Customer centric with excellent relationship management, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with engines, generators and/or control systems.
- Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, hours and travel when required to support our customer needs.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable with computerized systems.
